Cathy Bradburn - Como Physie Petite's Teacher

Cathy's physie journey began when she was just 3 years of age, following in her big sister’s footsteps. She continued until her early 20s when life became busy and took her in a different direction. In 2019, when a move to the Shire sparked a need to find some local friends, she ventured into a Como physie class. Not only did she meet the most amazing bunch of women but it reignited her passion for dance.
A mother of two kids herself, Cathy loves teaching our preschoolers, nurturing their confidence and helping to create a lifelong passion for dance in our littlest members. Cathy has competed at BJP Nationals in Juniors, Seniors and Ladies. She has a background in classical ballet and enjoys lyrical / ballet and jazz classes in addition to physie.
Clair Spicer - Como Physie Petite's Teacher

My name is Clair and I first started Physie when I was 8 years old. From the start I enjoyed the routines and the challenge of Physie. I love that Physie is a sport that allows you to perform individually but also allows you the opportunity to be a part of a team. It’s the best of both worlds.
There are so many benefits to this dance sport. It provides fitness, flexibility, strength and co-ordination. It also builds confidence and the ability to focus through following instructions and learning set routines. Oh, and it’s fun!
Through my physie journey I have met so many lovely people and have formed many friendships. I enjoy being a part of the Physie community as a competitor, mother of competitors and a teacher of the Como Petites. The feeling of performing and accomplishing a Physie goal is fantastic and I now have the joy of watching younger children enjoy the same thing.
